Dolomiti Pizzeria
Rebranding
USER INSIGHT
Dolomiti Pizzeria had an outdated and inconsistent visual identity that didn’t reflect the quality of its food or the warmth of Italian cuisine.
The original logo lacked personality, and the overall branding failed to attract or engage potential customers.
From physical signage to digital platforms, the visual presence wasn’t inviting, making the restaurant easy to overlook in a competitive city like Frankfurt.
CONCEPT
The concept focused on creating a bold, handcrafted identity inspired by the energy and warmth of a real Italian kitchen.
The new branding captures Dolomiti’s unique atmosphere: over 100 pizzas and pastas made fresh in front of you, using traditional Italian ingredients and techniques.
Warm colors, playful shapes, and an expressive pizzaiolo illustration bring the brand to life and reflect the heart of the Dolomiti experience.
The custom pizzaiolo illustration was created to give the brand a recognizable face something customers could connect with and remember. Unlike the old logo, which was simply a photo of a pizza, the new identity adds character, emotion, and memorability.
The color palette combines a deep, traditional Italian red with a soft blush pink to balance energy and warmth.
Red reflects passion, appetite, and the dynamism of an Italian kitchen, while the pink adds a modern and approachable tone that makes the brand feel more human and welcoming.
Together, they create a visual identity that feels authentic, distinctive, and contemporary.
DESIGN
The Dolomiti visual identity was designed to work across both physical and digital environments from pizza boxes and menus to staff uniforms and the website.
The goal was to create a brand system that feels handcrafted, expressive, and consistent wherever it appears.
Beyond traditional applications, the design extends into everyday moments: eating pizza with friends, stretching dough, or sharing a table. These scenes reflect the energy and warmth of Italian dining and help build emotional connection with the brand especially in social media contexts where experience and aesthetics go hand in hand.
