TRUST ME

UX/UI DESIGN

USER INSIGHT

In many communities, informal lending remains the most accessible option especially for people who don’t trust banks or don’t qualify for traditional loans due to lack of property, stable income, or credit history.

These peer-based systems offer speed and familiarity but often come with high interest rates and little transparency. Still, many borrowers prefer them because they feel more human and approachable than institutions.

The challenge was to bring this trust-based system into a digital space preserving its emotional closeness while improving transparency, accessibility, and structure.

CONCEPT

“Trust Me” is a fintech concept rooted in the idea of lending based on trust redesigned for people who feel excluded or underserved by the traditional banking system.

The app was designed to feel nothing like a bank: warm, personal, and community-driven. The brand identity centers around mutual support the logo shows two stylized figures forming the letter “M,” symbolizing connection and collaboration.

This project aimed to create a space where people could lend and borrow money with confidence, clarity, and dignity.

DESIGN

Working with a predefined palette of bold violet and turquoise, the design challenge was to create a visual system that felt clear, intuitive, and emotionally engaging.

Rounded shapes, soft edges, and friendly typography help communicate openness and trust. The interface prioritizes ease of use, especially for people with limited digital experience, and includes intuitive flows for requesting or offering loans.

The overall experience was built to reduce friction, foster fairness, and provide a respectful alternative for those often left out of traditional finance.
